FLAP ATTACK Terms of Use

1 Playing

• The game is free. There are no purchases in the app.
• Anyone can play as a guest. Guest progress is saved only on your phone.
• The HartiesFM live radio plays while you play. You can turn it down with your phone's volume.

2 Accounts (18+ only)

• You must be 18 or older to create an account and appear on the leaderboards. By creating one, you confirm that you are.
• One account per person. Keep access to your email safe, because anyone with your sign-in code can use your account.
• A Quick Join account is linked to your phone only. If you delete the app or change phones without adding an email, it can't be recovered.

3 Nicknames

Pick a nickname that's yours and clean. No swearing, insults, hate speech, sexual content, or pretending to be HartiesFM, its presenters or anyone else. We may change or remove a nickname that breaks this, without notice. You can change your own nickname once every 30 days.

4 Fair play

Every ranked score is replayed and checked on our server. Don't cheat. That includes modified apps, bots, automated tapping, emulators used to gain an advantage, or exploiting bugs. We may remove scores, reset progress, or suspend or close accounts we reasonably believe are cheating. Our decision on leaderboards is final.

5 Competitions and prizes

From time to time HartiesFM may run competitions using the leaderboards. Each competition will have its own rules, which apply together with these terms. Leaderboard rankings alone don't entitle you to a prize.

6 Our content

The game, its artwork, sounds and the FLAP ATTACK and HartiesFM names and logos belong to HartiesFM or its licensors. The radio stream and the music on it are broadcast under HartiesFM's broadcasting licences. You may not copy, record, rebroadcast or resell them.

7 Availability

We try to keep the game, radio and leaderboards running, but we can't promise they'll always be available or error-free. We may change, pause or end features, worlds, birds or the game itself. You need an internet connection for the radio and leaderboards, and your mobile network may charge for data.

8 Liability

The game is provided free and "as is". As far as the law allows, HartiesFM is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the game, including lost progress or scores. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other South African law that can't be excluded.

9 Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app (profile, then Delete my account). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

10 Changes and law

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top, and for important changes we'll let you know in the game. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
