FLAP ATTACK is a free game made by HartiesFM (Pty) Ltd ("HartiesFM", "we"), an online radio station at De Handelspost Sentrum, Hartbeespoort, 0216, South Africa. We are the "responsible party" for your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
As a guest, your scores, unlocked birds and settings are saved only on your phone. We don't receive them. If you delete the app, they are gone.
Even as a guest, the app connects to the internet to:
Accounts are only for people aged 18 and older.

| Nickname | Shown on the public leaderboards. |
| Country, and for South Africa your province and area | For the town, province and country leaderboards. Shown publicly next to your nickname. |
| Confirmation that you're 18+, and when you accepted the terms | To show we only give accounts to adults. |
| Game results: score, how long the run lasted, number of taps, bird, world and date | For the leaderboards, your best score and unlocks. To check scores are genuine, the app sends us the timing of your taps for each ranked run. We replay the run to check it, then keep only the result. |

| Technical logs such as IP address and time of request | Kept by our hosting provider for security and to stop abuse. |
We do not collect your exact location, contacts, photos, advertising ID or payment details. The app has no third-party advertising or analytics.
Your nickname, country (with flag), province and area, and scores appear on the leaderboards, which anyone using the game can see. Your email address is never shown.
We don't sell or rent your information. We only use these service providers, who process it for us:
Storing data in the United Kingdom is a transfer outside South Africa. The UK has data protection law that gives protection comparable to POPIA, and our providers are bound by contract to protect it.
We will disclose information if the law requires it, or to deal with cheating or abuse that breaks our Terms.
Anyone can play as a guest, but accounts are only for people aged 18 or older. Guests give us no personal information. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
Under POPIA you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it.
If you're unhappy with how we handled your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa: inforeg.org.za.
Information is sent over encrypted connections. Each player can only reach their own account data, and scores are checked on our server before they count. No system is perfectly secure, but we'll tell you and the Information Regulator if a breach affects you, as POPIA requires.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes we'll also let you know in the game.
